The City of Jesolo is once again hosting Sile Jazz for 2024: the festival, now in its 13th edition, which from June 7 to July 27 offers great live music along the banks of the Sile River, following the path of the silent river…

On Friday 28 at 9 p.m., at Bersagliere Square in Cortellazzo, Federica Michisanti trio performs:

The invisible exchange between the salt water of the Adriatic Sea and the fresh water of the Piave River will witness the concert that opens the fourth weekend of Sile Jazz. Dictating the rhythm, enveloping and intriguing, of the evening realized in collaboration with the Cortellazzo Citizen’s Committee, will be the trio led by bassist and double bassist Federica Michisanti, who, since winning the Top Jazz award in 2018 in the new talent category, has developed an increasingly recognizable compositional ability that has allowed her to receive the prestigious award twice more and also to be invited in Ornella Vanoni’s band for the “Women and Music” tour.
Completing the trio are the talents of vibraphonist Gianluca Manfredonia and drummer Alessandro Marzi.

Sile Jazz offers the community a time to meet and rediscover the places bordering the river, proposing to the public soloists and composers among the most original, innovative and creative of the contemporary music scene, with the intention of enhancing the territory, even in its most unknown corners.
