Festa di primavera in Jesolo
The Spring Festival will start on Friday, March 27th from 6:30 PM at Piazza della Repubblica. You will have the opportunity to taste a great variety of quality foods and beverages from restaurants and operators in the area.
Starting on March 28th from 10 AM the city centre will come alive between Via Cesare Battisti, Piazza I Maggio, Piazzetta Fanti del Mare and Via Nazario Sauro. While strolling along the streets you will discover the excellence of craftmanship and creativity with options and experiences dedicated to wellness, food and wine. A special opportunity dedicated to local farms and agricultural businesses, who will sell to the public their best locally sourced products.
On Saturday starting at 3.30 PM, Piazza I Maggio will welcome the Musical Association Singers Melody with an exciting repertoire including different genres, mainly musical and opera. During the same time, the stage on piazzetta Fanti del Mare will welcome different live performances by the students of the Monteverdi music school (Fidelio Cultural Association). On Sunday, starting at 4:30 PM, FlyMode, a band of young talents aged 15 to 19, will brighten up the square with their live performance.
On Sunday, March 29th at 3:30 PM at Piazza I Maggio will be staged the play “Sheep on a bicycle”. What happens when a sheep decides to fight against flock laws? Everything started the day Pico found a bicycle and decided to ride it. After a series of clumsy attempts at balance, rides to the moor and the hostility of his peers who don’t approve his choices, Pico will have to face wolves to a totally unexpected discovery. A simple yet deep story that invites us to reflect on the importance of believing in ourselves and following our own path, while facing with courage the fear of what’s different and of the unknown through the value of friendship.
At Hotel Udinese will take place a sensory journey through local scents and colours: flowers, botanicals and honey will be the protagonists of delicious tastings. The meetings, offered and curated by the historical centre, will be held on Saturday from 3:30 PM, whereas on Sunday a double appointment will be featured with a morning session at 11:30 AM and an afternoon session at 3 PM.
Street artists, workshops and outdoor activities:
On Saturday and Sunday afternoon street artists will be performing along the vie of the historical centre, bringing joy and fun. There will be plenty of animation and workshops dedicated to children. The town hall park will transform into a huge leisure area, displaying traditional and vintage games and a wellness area, while also offering horseback rides. Local sport associations will present their activities and have the public participate in new experiences.
The Jesolo Rowing Club welcomes who desires to experience the territory from a unique perspective by opening the doors to their boats on the river Sile. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience to slide on the river’s water and admire the nature. And what about a pinch of adrenaline? You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself with a unique kayaking experience.
The music and shining lights of the funfair area will welcome children and adults in Piazza Kennedy to share some joyful moments.
