Aqua 2024 Festival

The Aqua Festival – The Philosophy of the Sea returns to Jesolo with its second edition, offering 15 events that will take place at sunrise and sunset from June 15-29, 2024. The performances will take place at the Brescia Square beachfront, Pegasus Park and, as a novelty this year, at the JMuseo.

The festival expands, offering a diverse schedule that embraces music, theater, poetry, science popularization, travel, art, and reflection.

Prominent guests from contemporary culture will include Vincenzo Schettini, Mogol with Gioni Barbera, Paolo Borzacchiello, Francesco Costa, Debora Villa, Manuel Agnelli, Gianluca Gotto, Matteo Saudino, Gloria Campaner with Franco Arminio, Paola Turci with Gino Castaldo, Alessandro Bergonzoni, Roberto Cacciapaglia, Luca Beatrice, Lucio Luca, and Giovanni Dell’Olivo.

Many of the performances are specially designed for the Aqua Festival, taking advantage of its unique setting along the coast.

The theme of this second edition, “I prefer the sound of the sea,” pays homage to the sound that soothes and pulls us away from chaos, prompting us to confront the abyss without fear. This theme highlights the emotional connection we have with the nature around us through the common denominator of water that connects all events.

The Aqua Festival – The Philosophy of the Sea is promoted by the City of Jesolo and the JesoloVenice Consortium of Tourist Enterprises, with artistic direction by Marilisa Capuano and organization by Gabriele Vian.

This Festival celebrates water and the power of words, bringing the Jesolo community together on its beach to share emotions and thoughts.
