Banksy&Friends: the art of rebellion is the exhibition that chronicles contemporary times through the eyes of some of the most influential living artists of the very famous street art known as post-graffiti and guerrilla art.

From April 24 to Sept. 15, more than 90 works by beloved artists such as Banksy, Jago, and TvBoy as well as other famous and internationally known names from Liu Bolin, David LaChapelle, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, and Obey to well-known Italians Angelo Accardi, LAIKA, MaPo, Laurina Paperina, PAU, Nello Petrucci, Andrea Ravo Mattoni, Rizek, and Giuseppe Veneziano are on display in the halls of the JMuseo in Jesolo.

Banksy‘s art, in particular, is expressed in the street and public dimensions of urban space. His works, eccentric and incisive, make us reflect on the system and society in which we live; they are a symbol of struggle and protest in a world where economic interests often prevail over what should be the good of communities. The halo of mystery that, by choice and by necessity, is self-fueled when it comes to the figure of Banksy makes him a true myth of our times.
His visual protest engages a vast and heterogeneous audience and makes him one of the most beloved artists of the younger generation.

Curated by Piernicola Maria Di Iorio, the exhibition is produced by the City of Jesolo and organized by Piuma and Arthemisia.
